Hello. My name is Matt, the Liphook Handyman. I am a City & Guilds trained and experienced electro mechanical engineer who lives in Liphook. For over 20 years I have worked within the security systems sector, providing solutions for police, airports, petrochemical amongst other organisations and industries.
So why the Liphook Handyman now?
This is a handyman business that has developed since the lockdown and subsequent furlough period. I had time on my hands and I knew of people within the Liphook village that wanted their garden lawns cut so they could enjoy the lovely weather.
I provided a lawn mowing service locally throughout the summer of 2020 and expanded into fixing fences and all those things that break around properties.
I have really enjoyed this new handyman experience and have been encouraged by my customers responses. I decided it was time for a career change and to be more a part of the fabulous Liphook community that I have commuted to and from each day for far to long.
What can I do for you?
My aim is to always provide a professional handyman service that my customers are happy with. I pride myself on being:
Friendly and courteous
Reliable and trustworthy
Tidy – neat by nature, I like to tidy as I go and leave a job clean
Cost effective – I only undertake local work which keeps the costs down
If for any reason I am not confident that I can do the job that you are asking me, I will tell you. However, more than often I know who in the area can do the job, or I will bring in a colleague who specialises in the task.
After spending a lifetime living in the Liphook area, I know many people and they know me. Therefore, whatever it is that needs fixing, installing, adjusting or maintaining, together we will get the job done.
